My brain works in mysterious ways. For all that I haven't written fanfic in ages, first I started thinking it would've been fun if Sandor from 'A Magician's Misfortunes' could meet Sherlock Holmes, and then I went on pondering about Bill Snibson meeting Wodehouse's Jeeves... (Maria, though, is a bit too soft for a true Wodehousian aunt, I think).
